Bodies reveal how systems work.

My embodied practice explores movement, identity, voice, disability, trauma, and adaptation.

I am interested in how bodies are included, regulated, misunderstood, strengthened, or excluded by the systems around them. I am particularly interested in how bodies adapt within yogic physical practices (asana) and how yogic systems do not adapt enough to include a wider variety of bodies and minds within physical yogic practice.

I am interested in how bodies experience institutions, environments, power, and belonging—and how non-normative bodies are understood, regulated, excluded, or transformed.

Areas of Exploration

  • Asana and verbal instruction for people with physical disability

  • Men’s mental health, Muay Thai and asana

  • Maternal bodies in crisis and trauma
